A surprise to some and highly expected by others, Jay-Z has officially reached the status of Billionaire and is the first in the hip-hop community to do so.
According to a report by Forbes, Jay-Z reached an impressive milestone and has become the first rap artist to claim the title Billionaire.
It’s not that surprising when you look at his track record both within and outside the music industry. With 14 number one albums to his name, at least four of which classified as hip-hop classics, launching his own fashion company “Rocawear”, releasing his own D’usse cognac alongside Bacardi and launching his own streaming service, Tidal, It’s safe to say Jay has earned his spot.
