Alex Warren has added another major chart milestone to his career with the release of his second studio album, WILDCHILD. New Billboard chart data shows the album debuting at No. 1 on both Top Album Sales and Vinyl Albums, giving Warren his first leader on each ranking.
The latest weekly figures also place WILDCHILD at No. 2 on the all-genre albums chart, marking Warren’s highest position there so far. The album earned 75,000 equivalent album units in its opening week, including 55,000 traditional album sales.
Physical formats played a notable role in the debut. WILDCHILD was available in several vinyl, CD and cassette editions, along with digital download options.
The new release follows You’ll Be Alright, Kid, which previously reached No. 5 on the albums chart. Warren has also maintained a strong presence on the singles charts, led by the success of Ordinary. Songs including Passenger, Fine Place To Die and Fever Dream had already reached the Hot 100 before the album arrived.
